Adapter
The hotel electrical supply is 220V / 50Hz. If you need, adapters are available at the reception. A small amount of deposit will be charged to your room bill, and when the adapter is returned, this will be removed from your account.
Air Conditioning
50% of our rooms are equipped with an individual air cooling unit, with a remote control. If you need any assistance on how to use it, please ask the receptionists or the housekeepers.
Airlines
Reception can assist you with airline confirmations. If you need a number for an airline, and Google doesn’t seem to be helping you, please ask the Reception, and we will assist you. 99% of the airlines accept ticket / boarding pass on your mobile phone but if you require we can print it out free of charge just send by email to fom@hotelgloria.com
Airport
There are many ways to get to the airport:
- Hotel taxi – fix price, no rush
- Airport Shuttle Minibus – official minibus provider (stops 2-3 places before arrive to the airport)
- Taxi – many taxi companies offer rides to the airport too (6X6, Bolt, CIty Taxi, Főtaxi, etc) just ask the reception and will call you one. Rate depends on the traffic and waiting time.
- Public Transportation – Take Metro M3 until the last station (from Népliget station to Kőbánya-Kispest station) and change there to bus nr. 200E until the Liszt Ferenc International Airport. It takes 45-50 minutes.
ATM
Nearest ATM is 400 meters from the hotel on the Nagyvárad tér at the Heim Pál Hospital.
Baby equipment
We also have a variety of baby equipment in our hotel to help our guests. If you require a baby cot, baby bath, high chair or any baby equipment, please feel free to contact our reception!
Baggage delivery service
Baggage delivery service is available from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. on request. Please contact the reception for help and prices!
Baggage room
For our arriving and departing guests, we provide free baggage room service in our closed baggage room on the ground floor. If you need this service, please contact the reception.
Bathrobe
Bathrobe is available at the reception for rent.
Bathroom
All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. The water in the hotel and all around Budapest is clean, safe and drinkable. All of the bathrooms are equipped with towels, hairdryers, toilet papers, shampoo and soap too. Something is missing or you left at home? Ask the reception and will happy to help you
Bed
The sizes of the beds in the hotel are 90 x 200 cm or 160 x 200 cm. All of the beds are equipped with mattress protectors, which are regularly cleaned at high temperature. The bed includes a sheet, a pillow and a duvet for each guest. For longer stays the bed linen is changed twice a week. If sooner is needed, please indicate your request at the reception.
Bike rental or charge
You can rent bikes at the reception when available. And you can charge your e-bikes, scooters during your stay just ask the reception!
Blanket
Extra blanket or duvet is available. Please contact the reception!
Breakfast
The buffet breakfast is served from Monday to Sunday 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m on the ground floor in the restaurant. If your booking doesn’t include breakfast, please feel free to contact reception for having breakfast at a discounted price.
If you require an earlier breakfast or a take-away breakfast, it can be organized for you, but please inform the reception till 6:00 p.m. the day before.
Business services
Our receptionists try to do their best to help the guests in any way they can. Printout is also available at the reception.
Car Parking
The Hotel Car Park is situated at the rear of the Hotel and available for 10 Euro / car / day. Next time if you book directly on our homepage at www.hotelgloria.com your parking will be free. Our hotel cannot be responsible for items left in the vehicle. Parking at the front of the hotel on the streets is 275 HUF/hour from 8:00-18:00 on weekdays. Tickets available from the machine opposite of the hotel. Parking on the streets on weekdays from 18:00-08:00 and on weekends is free of charge.
Car Rental
If you need any help to rent a car, contact the reception and our colleagues will assist you.
Charger
If you need a charger, cable or adaptor ask our receptionist to see if we can give you one. If you no longer use the charger you received from us, please bring it back to the reception so that we can give it to someone else.
Check-out
Check out time is 11:00 a.m. If you wish to extend your check out time please contact reception. Extended check out time is subject to availability and there will be a small amount charged to your room per hour.
Coffee machine
Most of the rooms include a coffee machine or kettle with coffee, tea and sugar. If you need anything else or have any questions about it or how to use, please ask the reception!
Complaint
If you have any complaint to any of our services and colleagues, please contact the reception in the first instance, who will investigate all complaints and try to solve the problem as soon as possible!
Cot
We have baby cots available for use. Please contact the reception and they will organize housekeeping to bring one to your room.
Credit Cards
The hotel accepts almost all types of credit cards. And you can also pay with PayPal too.
Daily cleaning
The rooms are also cleaned daily between 08:00 to 16:00. We take out the trash and change the towel and bed linen if required. If you do not require a daily cleaning, please use the door handle sign in the room with the words showing “Please do not disturb!” If you would like us to change your towels during the daily cleaning, throw them on the floor in the bathroom. If you think you may be using the towels again, while protecting the environment, please hang the towel on the towel rail. Bed linen is changed twice a week. If you need us to change the bed linen during the daily cleaning process, please inform the reception latest till 2 p.m.
Drinks
If you need any drink, you can buy it at the reception 0-24 hours. The consumption will be added to your room bill or you can pay it directly to the receptionist. You can find our beverage supply and prices at the reception. Drinks are available at your room too. Just dial reception and we will happy to serve you.
Doctor
If you require a doctor or emergency services please call reception at 101 and they will contact the Doctor or Emergency on call immediately.
Electric scooter
One of the best ways to discover the city is on an electric scooter. 1-2 is mostly available at the front of the hotel. Just download the necessary application to use it
Elevator
The easiest way to connect the ground floor to the guest floors. Do not use the elevator in case of fire or if you have any mental illness.

Emergency numbers
For emergencies please contact the reception by dialing 101 who will be able to direct your calls to the relevant service.
Fire Safety
The hotel is protected by fire prevention devices and alarm systems. Please make yourself aware of the emergency procedures listed here to further enhance your safety and security. Guest safety is our number one priority at all times.
YOUR BEST DEFENSE AGAINST A FIRE IS TO PLAN AHEAD.
Upon your arrival, please make note of the following:
- Take note of your nearest fire exit on the floor plan located on the back of your bedroom door.
- Count and remember the number of doors between exits and your room.
- Locate the nearest fire extinguisher.
Inspect your room:
- Study the layout of your room.
- Determine how to open the windows and inspect anything that might hinder possible escape.
- Read any fire emergency information provided, including the layout of the hotel on the back of your guestroom door.
IF YOU FIND A FIRE IN THE HOTEL
Persons, who discover fire, smoke or unusual heat should remain calm and do the following:
- Call the hotel reception, Dial “101” on the room phone or call 112 or 105
- Tell the operator:
– The exact nature of the trouble (smoke, fire, you hear sparks, etc.),
– Exactly where the trouble is located.
– How serious is the trouble.
– Your name and where you are.
- If you can safely return to the fire, try to extinguish it (small fires only).
- If the fire is large and endangers your life or the lives of others, close all doors and windows to contain the fire and immediately leave the area.
- Follow the emergency exit signs.
TO EVACUATE YOUR ROOM
- Feel the door. If it is hot, do not open it. If it is cool, open it a crack, then look into the hallway. Be prepared to immediately shut the door if you find smoke or flames.
- Keep a wet cloth tied to your nose and mouth.
- Close the door behind you to keep fire from spreading.
- If there is smoke, walk to the nearest smoke free exit.
- If there is heavy smoke, or if it is dark, remain calm, drop to your hands and knees and crawl to the exit (air is fresher at floor level). Remember to count the doors so you do not get lost.
- NEVER USE ELEVATORS DURING A FIRE. They could stop at the fire floor.
- IF YOUR EXIT IS BLOCKED, use an alternative exit indicated with an emergency exit sign.
IF YOU CAN NOT LEAVE YOUR ROOM
If you cannot exit, your room is the safest place to be. Be prepared to fight smoke and/or fire.
- Stay low to the floor where the air is fresher.
- Tie a wet cloth over your nose and mouth for easier breathing.
- Seal the room from smoke by inserting wet towels, sheets, clothing, etc. in the opening around the door.
- Turn off air conditioners, they may draw in smoke.
- Call the hotel reception and give your location.
- Signal your presence by hanging a sheet out your window, then close the window as a signal to fire fighters that the room is occupied. Keep the section of the sheet that is inside the room wet.
- Remove all drapes from the window.
Fridge
Mini fridge is available in your room. If you need drinks, you can buy them at the reception.
Hairdryer
Hairdryer is located on the wall in every bathroom.
Housekeeping
All rooms receive daily housekeeping service between the hours of 8am to 4pm. If any other Housekeeping services are required, please contact the reception.
Internet Access
Wireless Internet Access is available throughout the hotel for free.

Ironing Services
Ironing service is available only from 8 a.m to 1. p.m. Ironing fees can be found at the Laundry and Ironing services menu below. For ordering any ironing service, please contact the reception!
Kettle
50% of the rooms include kettle with coffee, tea and sugar. If you need anything else or have any questions about it or how to use, please ask the reception!
Keys
Please ensure that your door is always closed securely on leaving your bedroom. Always take your room key with you. It may help you to find the hotel, if you show the address on it for example to a taxi driver. If you lose your key card, please notify the reception immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. Please return your key card to the front desk upon check-out.
Laundry and ironing services
Laundry is delivered within 48 hours. On Saturday, Sunday and on National Holidays ask for information about delivery times at reception. Please put your laundry and the filled laundry paper into the wash bag, what you can find in the wardrobe. Please place the filled wash bag on the bed in a visible place. During daily cleaning, the maids collect the laundry. Laundry and ironing fees:

Linen change
For longer stays, bed linen, sheets and towels are changed twice a week. If you need us to change bed linen earlier, please inform the reception till 2 p.m. that day at the latest!
Lost & Found
All articles found in guest rooms and apartments after departure will be held by the reception for thirty days. Lost articles will be forwarded upon request.
Mail & Packages
Guest mails and parcels can be picked up at the reception.
Maps
Maps are available at the reception.
Monitoring system
In the hotel we operate a close circuit security monitoring system for your safety. If you have any questions regarding the camera system, please ask the reception.
Netflix
Feel free to use your Netflix account during your stay on your mobile devices, our high speed wi-fi internet connection will help you.
Notepad and pen
Notebooks and pencils are placed in every room.
Pets
Pets are allowed in your hotel room. A small charge will be applied on your invoice. For the costs please ask the reception.
Pillow
In every room there is one pillow for each person. If you need a pillow change or you would like to have an extra or special pillow, please contact the reception and they will help you!

We suggest using futar.bkk.hu or the Futar app. This is the easiest way to plan yourtravel.

Online radio channels available on your mobile devices just use our high speed wi-fi network.
Reception
Our reception is open 0-24 hours. Our colleagues speak Hungarian and English fluently and they are always ready to help you. Other available languages from our staff are German, Turkish, Spanish and French. Please feel free to contact them anytime!
Restaurant
Our Szapary Restaurant is now open only for breakfast from Monday to Sunday. Breakfast is from 7.00-10.00 a.m. If your booking doesn’t include breakfast, please feel free to contact reception for having breakfast for discounted price.
Safety Deposit Boxes
There are safety deposit boxes in 50% of the rooms. Under state law the hotel cannot be responsible for the loss of articles unless properly secured in the central safety deposit box located at the reception. The use of a safetydeposit box is free.
Scooter
One of the best ways to discover the city is on an electric scooter. 1-2 is mostly available at the front of the hotel. Just download the necessary application to use it.
Sewing kit
You will find a sewing kit in the rooms. If accidentally for some reason it is not placed in your room and you still need it, feel free to ask at the reception.
Shoe cleaning machine
You will find our shoe shine machine in the lobby in front of the reception.

You will find a shoe shine kit in your room. If for some reason you do not happen to be in your room and still need it, please let us know at the reception!
Sightseeing
There are a lot of sightseeing tours available at the reception for very good prices. Please ask the receptionists, and they will be happy to arrange you the best one. If you are a member of a group of 4 or more, ask for special discounted rates.

If you need slippers, contact the reception.
Smoking policy
Smoking is not permitted within the hotel and outside within five meter from the entrance. Please use only the designated areas for smoking. You can smoke comfortably on our terrace in front of the hotel. A penalty of EUR 30,00 / day will be charged if you smoke in your room even if the window is open.

We help you with our fast and reliable wi-fi service to enjoy streaming services too.
Taxis
Taxis can be booked at reception. The regular pick-up time is 5-8 minutes. On rush hour and during rainy days it could be more.

Television
Local and international channels are available on your cable TV. If you have a problem with the TV or its remote control, please contact the reception.
Towel
We change towels twice a week, after 3-4 days use. If you would like us to change your towels during the daily cleaning, throw them on the floor in the bathroom. If you think you may be using the towels again to protect the environment, please hang the towel on the towel rail. If you need extra towel, please contact the reception.
Transportation Services
Reception can make arrangements and supply information on taxi, limousine, shuttle, car rental services or public transportation. They will be happy to make recommendations concerning your transportation needs.
Umbrella
In rainy weather, please feel free to use the hotel umbrellas, which you can find at the reception. If you no longer use the umbrella, please drop it off at the front desk so that other guests can use it.
